  • This site describes our tools. Using a tool is covered by that tool's own terms, on its own website.
  • Use it fairly. Don't misuse the forms, scrape aggressively or try to break the site.
  • Our information is general. It is accurate to the best of our knowledge, not professional advice.

Who we are

emdtools.com is the website of EMD Tools (Evergreen Microtools Development), operated by Glenwhisper Limited, a company incorporated in Hong Kong (HK Business Registration No. 76935415; Registered office: Unit 1603, 16th Floor, The L. Plaza, 367-375 Queen's Road Central, Sheung Wan, Hong Kong). "We" and "us" in these terms mean Glenwhisper Limited. By using this site you agree to these terms.

This site and our tools

This site introduces our tools and lets you sign up for launch updates or contact us. The tools themselves run on their own websites, and each has its own terms of use and privacy policy, which apply when you use that tool:

Information on this site

We describe each tool, its features, limits and prices as accurately as we can and update the descriptions when the tools change. If a description here and the tool's own site disagree, the tool's own site is the more up-to-date source. Descriptions of standards (such as GS1 barcode rules) are general information, not legal or professional advice.

Acceptable use

Please don't:

  • send spam, abuse or other people's personal data through the contact or sign-up forms;
  • try to break, overload or get around the site's security or rate limits;
  • copy the site to pass it off as your own, or suggest that we endorse something we do not.

Reading, quoting and linking to our pages, including by search engines and AI assistants, is welcome.

Names and trademarks

EMD Tools and the names and logos of our tools belong to us. Other names mentioned on this site, such as GS1, Avery and Amazon, are trademarks of their owners. We are not affiliated with or endorsed by them; we mention them only to describe what our tools work with.

Liability

The site is provided as it is and as available, without any promise that it will be error-free or suit a particular purpose, except where the law does not allow such promises to be excluded. To the extent the law allows, we are not responsible for losses that come from relying on information on this site.

Nothing in these terms limits or excludes our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot be limited or excluded by law. If you use the site as a consumer, you keep all the rights the law gives you.

Governing law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region. The courts of Hong Kong can deal with any dispute about them, but they are not the only place you can go (their jurisdiction is non-exclusive). If you use the site as a consumer, you keep the protection of any rules in the law where you live that cannot be overridden by a contract. Before going to court, please tell us what went wrong.

Changes to these terms
